The KT88 tradition continues

First looks can be deceiving, ....familiar cosmetics, ...familar controls, ...but what's under the hood? Well for starters, one massive, 18 pound ouput transformer, the identical output transformer found on our Silver Cloud and Vimana amplifier models. Keeping in step with those two models, the new MK80 is powered by two, reissue Genelex "Gold Lion" KT88 beam-power tetrode vacuum tubes (in push-pull configuration). Extensive voicing went into this new model and each component was chosen for sonic performance and measured for precision. More specs on each model below. Photos and more details coming soon.

  • Levant style tolex (custom order color options available).
